This Week on the Pod: Just a quick pop in to give thanks to our listeners and share a drink.
Just a quick pop in this week to say hello and share a festive drink recipe as we and you all stuff our birds and bake our pies. We're laughing and loving the craziness of having a house full of friends and family.
We'll see you back here next week for our regularly scheduled full-sized episode. Where we'll share part two of our interview with Kim Englehardt. Cheers!
What We're Drinking: Cranberry Martinis

We all love a Cosmo, and this drink is prettttty much a Cosmo minus the lime juice. Lynne super-charged hers with a festive frozen cranberry float (highly recommend). Recipe for the drink below, cheers! INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons dried cranberries
¾ cup cranberry juice cocktail
½ cup vodka (We like Tito's)
¼ cup Triple Sec liqueur
1 cup ice
PREPARATION
Step 1
Put the cranberries and 2 tablespoons of water in a small bowl,
cover it, and microwave for 30 seconds. Allow it to cool completely,
which should take about 15 minutes.
Step 2
In the meantime, mix the cranberry juice cocktail, vodka, Triple
Sec, and ice in a large cocktail shaker. Secure the lid and shake
vigorously for 30 seconds. Add a tablespoon of cranberries to
each of the 2 martini glasses and pour the cocktail mixture over them. Serve
chilled. To create a tasty and festive holiday beverage in no time, prepare the ingredients ahead of time and shake them when your guests arrive
